P.O. Box

September 27, 2012

I just realize that I rent the same P.O. Box for more than 27 years. It is older than a lot of kids.

P.O. Box to a photographer is very important. Why? If I print a physical address on my business card, it pretty much tells the criminals that some expensive camera equipments are over there for them. Hey, here is the address….come get them. Duh! A P.O. Box is, in a sense, a self-defense mechanism.

P.O. Box to a really busy person is extremely important. I can go check mail at 2 in the morning. I don’t need to stay home and wait for the packages. I can buy stamps at the same time when I check mail. Yes, I still support the good ol’ Post Office system. I still use snail mail on something I don’t trust their online services.

P.O. Box to a person living in a kind of okay neighbor is also important. There are many teens walking by after school. Well, I just don’t have a good impression of today’s kids. Where have all these kids from “Leave it to Beaver” gone? I really miss you guys and that honest generation.

I love P.O. Box!
