{No. 160} Union & Reunion

September 22, 2014

Reunion Tower Last weekend, I hopped on the train and headed to Dallas. It was a short trip to scout locations for future portraiture sessions. The backdrop of the cityscape was perfect – deep blue sky with mostly white clouds. This summer is a little different than the past. We are so lucky to have clouds in hot Texas summer.

Above is a picture of the Reunion Tower. I didn’t bring a tripod with me this time. It took me a few trials with the available resources along the street to take a group of shots for HDR processing. I kinda made it! 🙂

The Reunion Tower was built in 1978. Here is the link to the  Dallas Morning News story on building such an icon.

The picture below is the Union Station (1916), the train station, sitting next to the Reunion Tower. Union and Reunion – what a great combination!
